Wellgain Group Ltd. - President Statement

“An inventive industrialist who is making a strategic investment in technology and believes in what he is doing.” It was an appreciation by a member of the board of judges in the 1996 Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong described Dr. Ng Tai Wo, the founder and president of Wellgain Group.

Dr. Ng Tai Wo has devoted himself to the research of precision technology design and manufacturing, especially in producing moulds and precision products. With wide knowledge and abundant experience, Dr. Ng spearheaded the effort in developing the quartz watch movement and the crystal oscillator. It was a breakthrough of domestic market of plastic quartz watch movements. Wellgain was the first Chinese manufacturer mastering this high precision technology following Switzerland and Japan.

In the new century, inheriting the faith of innovation, initiative and pursuit of perfection, Dr. Ng is leading the Group to the new high technology field which includes automobile parts, multimedia phones and etc. He is overcoming lots of technical difficulties and improving the standard of precision industry in China.

In order to increase the prosperity and drive the industrial development of Motherland to the world standard, Dr. Ng not only made lots of investment in the new business and advanced technologies in China, but also put effort in training talents to engage in research and development of the ultra-precision moulds. He hopes to nourish young enterprisers to develop their own businesses and let them to turn their intelligence into wealth.

Dr. Ng believes “Only innovative thinking, management and technology can contribute an enterprise to establish an unassailable position”. He is planning to enhance his investments in China. With the advantages of technology, funds and market positioning in China of the Group, Wellgain Group will make every effort to set up several listed companies in coming two years to reciprocate our motherland. We aims at making contributions to the rejuvenation of Chinese nations!
